Paul Lato "Matinee" Chardonnay 2021

Paul Lato is one of those naturally gifted winemakers that started out as a Sommelier, then made his first 6 barrels of wine in 2002.  He was discovered by Robert Parker who told him that he had tremendous talent, and to hurry up and name the wine, because he wanted to be the first to write about it… Fast forward to today and Paul Lato wines are some of the most sought after from the Central Coast, where he’s been raking in high 90’s scores from many of the top wine publications.

Pleasant aromas of creamy golden apple and honeydew melon preface a lush, full bodied palate with notes of wet stone, yuzu lemon, and perfectly balanced acidity. The wine’s long, elegant, and focused finish showcases bright citrus and vanilla spice from the finest French oak. Enjoy this wine over the next 3 to 5 years.
