Chateau Famaey Cuvee X Cahors 2020

100% Malbec.  Inky dark, almost black in colour. The nose has plenty of complex, toasty oak mingling with rich aromas of red and black berry fruit and a dusting of sweet spice. The palate is rich with blackberry fruit and perfumed floral notes of violets.

Harvested entirely by hand with a low yield, this wine will take you to another world.

Aged for 24 months in new oak barrels of French origin. Generous attack, ample middle with a lot of fat and structure, of great finesse that mixes sweetness and fruitiness to coat a very soft and round finish supported by very present but very coated tannins. Best enjoyed decanted during its early years.
